Hello everyone, My name is Steve and I'm new to this site, and to Gold wings. I bought a '86 interstate about a month ago for the princely sum of $1000.00. pics are of then, and now... The bowl of rust came out of the gas tank...

Should be lots of fun, now that I finally got the tank out.... Had to take the hole a** end off the bike....
The throttle wouldn't move when I got it, turns out the carbs on the left side were the issue. Haven't opened them up yet...

Welcome from Wisconsin. Looks like you have the same problem as I do; I get the bike home, and parts just seem to jump off the bike, lol. Good luck, and enjoy the ride!
