:crosso I just picked up this 75 GL for 300 bux., from an ol guy that says it ran 10 years ago. Looking forward to being a forum member and learning about he wing. Is 114000 miles a lot? My 750f1.

Welcome! 114k is a lot. But, depending on its history, could still have life left. After being resuscitated. Nice SOHC.

Welcome to the 'Wingdom.

Looks like it lived outside for 10 years .... 114 is not a problem but you may find others .... look at 'Shoptalk" and check Randakk's Site too.

Welcome. Nice 750 there. I'll second the paint job patina on Ole Red, you could make that something special, 75 makes it a real early bike, love those wheels too.

Welcome from the UK, if it turns over you could start with a compression test, if that's ok then change the belts and go from there.

I just finished an old 76 750f1, and now I have found my next love, a 75 gl. She has been sitting for 10 years but the old man said she ran when he parked it, under a shelter thank goodness. Let the fun begin.
