Re: 1982 Goldwing Trike
The surest way to tell what the bike was originally is to look at the factory placard attached to the left side of the steering head (frame). It can be hard to see with the fairing on. The bottom line on the placard will list the year and model. A Standard will only have 'gl1100' Interstate will have 'gl1100 I' and Aspy 'gl1100 A'

What does it say on the title? Should match the number stamped on the "NECK" not the fork. On the I.D. tag. Has all the info about the bike. Build date etc
1978 custom GL1000
1977 custom with 1200 engine
1985 gl1200

I don't know where you're located, but if the plate and stamped numbers don't match (in the US), something has been altered, and could cause problems if inspected. One thought that comes to mind is if the trike was 'built' by a company they may have been required to give it a different VIN number. As Cyborg says above, check the numbers with the title and go from there.

Re: 1982 Goldwing Trike
Hi All
Was wondering if anyone could give me a estimate on my Voyager Trike conversion kit I am thinking about selling? I have it on my 1982 GL1100 goldwing excellent condition, I live in the Myrtle Beach SC area, really don't want to ship.
