Hi, New Guy Intro

#1

Post by BowWow »

Just bought a 1981 GL1100 with 28,000-ish miles on it. It came with a Windjammer fairing and a set of bags and a trunk, but I think I'm going to take it back to more of a standard look. I'm home on Friday, looking forward to freshening this baby up! It's a little cantankerous to start, but runs well when warmed up. Friday will be all fluids and filters day, waiting for the new timing belts to arrive next week...

Welcome from Wisconsin! I'm kind of partial to the 1100's, myself. As rat says, it should be pretty easy to start... Enjoy the ride!
