New GL1000 owner
Hi, I just purchased my first GL1000, 1976, and a week later my second, 1977 and lots of extra parts from what I can tell a 1976 or 77. The spare engine is labeled as a 1974 but I don't think it is. They are both project bikes, but both run somewhat.

welcome form the Pac. Nor'West!
if you do have a '74 GL1000 engine DO NOT LET IT OUT OF YOUR SIGHT.
odds are it's not, but that would be really cool.
