New 79 -- But Have Owned Before

#1

Post by UKFan4Sure! »

I just picked up another 79, after having sold my museum quality specimen about 10 years ago. Regretted it, but kid's tuition and bills were due and I just couldn't keep it. I even had mint Samsonite Hondaline for it. Oh well.

This one will be a mild custom. It's not, and never would be collector grade, so I am taking the liberty to turn it into a more modern looking ride by ditching the tail light assy for a custom chrome unit, the turn signals for bullets, the huge handlebars for some trackers, the stock headlight bulb for LED, and the stock seat with a Corbin solo. I also chopped the rear fender and changed the front one with one from an 82 Sabre. I'm really liking the look now.

I'm in Louisville, so if there are any fellow vintage Wingers around, I'd love to meet sometime!

Bryan
