New to me 77' GL1000 and new to forum
Hey All,
Before about a month ago, I had no idea that naked Goldwings ever existed. Then I saw a few pics of a 75' and it really grabbed my attention. Now, I am a proud owner of a 77' naked Goldwing with only 15k miles. Just learning now, but going to be combing through the forums quite a bit for info. Seems like the place to be for this bike!
I plan on keeping the bike mostly stock looking, with a few restomods. First I'll do the important stuff like timing belts, brake fluid flush, and radiator flush. It already came with Lester wheels and JAMA exhaust, and I really like the look. I would like to add some low profile crash bars like the hondalines just because I've already been saved before by them when putting my foot down on gravel. Trying to find a pair that haven't been 'crash tested' yet and are in good shape.
Any tips or comments appreciated!

Re: New to me 77' GL1000 and new to forum
Other mods it has are a C5 ignition and a K&N air filter. It came with a slow tach but I found a decent one on eBay for cheap. It's on the way. 77 gauges seem to have their own unique dark blue gauges so tricky to find.
I also have some Avon Cobras waiting to go on the Lester's. Going to try a 140 on the back because it's very close to stock diameter. Current tire is too short and makes it a beast to get on the center stand.
