. I started in November with a bad deal of an 81 gl1100 that was junk, set me back about $200 but got to start playing with it. After that I picked up an 83 1100 for $100 with a recently blown motor but most parts there. I found an 84 gl1200 motor in great shape for $200 and finally had a platform to play with. I have it up and running now and getting ready to put all its guts back on to go for a test ride 
. During all this I decided to trade my dirt bike for another complete 75 gl1000 that was clean ( I got hooked bad lol) so that's my story, has been interesting and fun. Think I'll be around for a while on here, thanks for having me. Here's my bikes: The 75
