Hello fellow goldwing enthusiasts... I've just purchased a 1975 Goldwing, What a BIKE!!! The previous owner changed a few things from stock and I'd like to continue the path of cafe racer but not go crazy as this bike looks so good stock. Got heaps of spares and all the original parts with the old girl as well. Any tips from the goldwing pro's?

Nice find .... if you aren't absolutely sure of their history you should change the timing belts .... other than the usual roadworthy stuff, lights, brakes the only tip is .... Ride It ....

Welcome from the Rushmore State! I agree with doing the basic maintenance items before getting into the appearance too much.

However, I’m a huge fan of the form follows function philosophy. Ride it for a bit and see what you think needs improving - handling and brakes will probably be up there if you’re a more spirited rider. And the true cafe spirit is to improve performance as well as style, most original cafe racers also followed the form follows function. For more style inspiration, I’d recommend looking at some of the bikes of the month.
