She's getting there. I just did the timing/adjusted the points. New plugs. I have to clean the carbs but the belts are in order. On the bright side she came with new belts!
66k miles seems to run good the return is slow so I'm going to clean the carbs I believe the linkage is a bit sticky. The previous owner left some stabil in it. It's kinda renowned to make some goop lol

Welcome from Clinton! Quite a few vintage GLs and other bikes around here, plus one of the top carb guys over in Oliver Springs. Tuesday evenings there is a gathering of vintage bike fans in downtown Knoxville at the Time Warp Tea Room on Central Ave. In good weather, the street and sidewalk is lined with bikes and chairs out front filled with enthusiasts. The Tea Room has good tea, coffees, soups and sandwiches plus motorcycle racing decor. A club meets there monthly and has many activities.

Welcome. You should plan on coming to the Eastern Run in Slade, KY in September. You can show us your 75. It's not that far from Eastern Tenn. See details in the "All Runs Worldwide" thread.

You'd sure be welcome.
