Been a long time, all of Fellers on here we're very helpful, different reasons my bike's been sitting about 10 years, magnets in the stator came loose and intersected the rotor, wasn't pretty, anyway I got all that repaired replaced of much new seals and gaskets, pull the oil pump screen was unbelievably clean, 56k on the clicker, anyway it's all back together. Ready to run, brakes are locked up, if the thing runs good I'll fix the brakes, the meantime collected three other bikes, just by happenstance, been a motorcycle enthusiast all my life and that's the way it goes, anyway arthritis, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do all this, if this bike runs good, which it should, it's got some nice upgrades, might just sell the whole mess, 76 naked, two 79 bikes, one is a parts bike, no title, the others all have paper, the one 79 runs, but it's got a carb problem, I like this bike, it's been lowered, been sitting outside a long time to so its original patina it's pretty cool, then there's a 83 Interstate, needs a stator, been sitting outside for a long time unfortunately
That's my story and I'm sticking to it, I'll let you know how it turns out, it's a great life is good.....just don't weaken, stay healthy
76 gl naked, runs good, always tinkering
79 gl all the fairing stuff gone, work-in-progress
68 chevelle hi compression fat block, OH YA! In process of changing gear ratios, I'm excited!
73 tahiti jet 455 olds sweet heart, sad in a way, she gone, traded for a VTX Honda, didn't like it , traded For a Harley 19 Road King Classic, Stage 2, OH YA
