Looking forward to learning!

#1

Post by lilleG »

Hello everyone,

I have a 1976 Gl1000 that I have been riding for 2 years now! It is my first motorcycle and it has been a great ride!

I have had to learn a lot about repair and maintenance and it has luckily been great fun as I have had to fix a lot of things that have needed fixing. As I am relatively new to motorcycles I have spent hours fixing problems that should only take a few minutes, so I am hoping this forum can be of great help moving forward!

I have (hopefully) attached a photo from my trip last week from Tromsø to Oslo (in Norway)

Thank you!

I changed the timing belts earlier this year. The previous owner claimed they had beed changed not long before I bought it, but couldn't say when. I am very glad I decided to change them because when I opened it up I found "2015" written with a white-board marker on the inside of the covers.
