We’ll I finally found a standard Goldwing. I’ve been waiting over a year to lay eyes on this bike. All along I was being told it was blue or bluish green which was very confusing. It turns out to be black unless my 64 year old eyes deceive me and is very dark blue.
Anyway I have been on the hunt for an ‘82 Standard just like one I bought new, which was also black. This is an ‘81, but close enough as they don’t turn up often these days especially complete and in good condition.
This one has just over 10k miles.
During my search, I did unearth some NOS parts, a complete exhaust system, fork ears and front turn signals. I figured I’d be converting an Interstate so I started buying what I would need. So now I got spares.

Yes it needs some refreshing, fuel lines, filter, brake lines, etc. all the perishable stuff that has been on there for the last 41 years!
