Good luck with the build and, just like the others said, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished bike.
Thanks! And yes this thread did play a big part with the purchase of the bike. I actually saw it on eBay first and kicked the can around until the ad disappeared. I thought maybe it sold locally and was surprised to see your posting listing it on Craigslist. About halfway through the thread, the eBay ad was up again.

The views from this ngwclub post was the driving force to "Buy It Now" since with that exposure it was just a matter of time before someone took the leap. Via eBay I had already contacted the seller to ask how many days the bike could remain where it was since shipping anything up here is always a challenge.

This Goldwing's adventure is already off to a good start and because I too enjoy a good build thread, this one should be, at the very least, "entertaining"!

In the event a donor bike is needed so this latest one can live, there is a complete 1981 Interstate here that has served as a test-bed for a few carb conversions and thus escaped being transplanted into a Trimagnum. The Goldwing from Oklahoma is mostly a 1983 GL1100 so the '81 would be a great parts bike.
