I'd be concerned how the sharp angles would affect flow. I'm not an engineer, but it seems to me that the exit from the carb and entrance into the head at such steep angles significantly affects the cross-sectional area.

Both comments makes sense. With all of your feedback, I'll make it work. Just trying to make it unique, not just mount them on top of the heads. I like the stacks in the middle, and I have long legs.

I was thinking the same thing. A more rounded exit entry would flow better. If you to kame the tube a little smaller I.D. at the entrance to the head that would help velocity some. Port matching everything would help too.

Without cutting the frame, I can't get them inside, so I figured I'd buy Randakk's manifolds.
But here's my dilemma... Do you guys that run them just get used to it and bring your knees out?
I'm pondering this... The end angle would be a little different for each and one would be about a 1/4" longer.

I think that version would work out best for knee room. I doubt the difference in runner length would make any significant impact on performance. My 2 cents...

I find being shorter, (30” inseam) makes it so I don’t hit the stuff.

I am 6 3 and my knees hit enough it was a deal breaker.

I contemplated moving them forward like that. It’s probably best. I recall others saying a good second gear shift and they smacked them. Subaru runners sweep down and then back up and down again. I’m assuming it’s to help with flow. Google them if you want them inside. I’m 5’10” and my carbs would hit easily with my left knee. They were smaller than Weber’s.
I think (what do I know??) the slanted ones would work well and give better throttle response.

I'll play around with making the tubes a little shorter. That will also help with leg clearance.
There will be a fine line to not go too short and have the end's start to really oval out.
Are sync screws not needed because of individual air intakes?
I plan on making the manifolds out of steel as it matches the ID better than the alum.

Just playing around, and won't go this route, but here's another way. Would need to make an interface for the carb bottoms and cut the two lower elbows and re-weld to the correct angle. But seems like it would work...

Starting to merge my crazy ideas into something that might work.
And I might have posted this before, but the intakes can handle the 400 degree heat for powder coating.

More progress...
I know it looks like a long distance between the carbs and the heads, but still much closer then the old setup. I'll use this (that I rarely use) to get both sides ground parallel.
