I am looking at the headlight mount. Can the factory mounts just be reversed or is there some fabrication needed

If you mean to lower the light, yes.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

Others have done that. You might need to make some rubber shims to keep it snug. Not sure if someone carries o-rings that big, but maybe.

Like the bike. Especially like the way you have treated the shelter. Might copy your design on a '78 I am just about ready to paint. Dark gray and platinum.

Love it....

...everything except for the car "H" Honda logo :( -- your 'wing needs wings!

The knobbies are a bit unconventional but look good on the bike. I'm thinking about putting Shinko 705 dual-sports on mine when this set wears out. Is the suspension too low for an off-road bike?

Spring picture. First time out this year. I have missed her, and now are into another week of rain, so I'll have to wait a bit to get her out again.

Not much different from the last pic except for wire mesh headlight cover. I did just put on some new bullet turn-signals this morning (not in picture), and I have some LED spotlights I am going to try to hide somewhere on it to give me a little more light at night.

What exhaust pipes are you using on the GL head pipes? Did you have to modify the stock pipes to accept them? Thanks.

I think those are stock 1100 pipes with the tips cut off and painted black.

I like your bike A LOT. (and I usually like 'em decked out with fairings and bags)

I'm REALLY "digging" your tires..... (pun intended)

Before you mess with LED spots, check your headlight adjustment - looks to be pointing too low in your pics...
(I've been amazed at how much better you can see at night when the headlight is correctly adjusted ;) )

Nice bike. I’m working in the same direction. The tires that came with my 79 are pretty new but when the where out I found some nice 80/20 road /dirt I’m gonna throw on.
