did you bob the harness? or just stuffed it all under the tank? If bobbed do you have a wiring diagram? Im having a mental block on mine

Yeah the Fireblade front end was almost a perfect fit. The electrics have been thinned out by about 60%! I just got everything electrical working and then removed wires one by one! Slow process but electrics is usually my worst subject!!!

The centre post of the triple clamp had to be swapped, Fireblade was a little short.

No clear coat yet, gonna see how it goes. It's stainless but I live near the sea!!

dont clear it. get a bottle of shark hide, its a protective sealant. Its used for boats and stuff that are in salt water.

Super job on a 1200. Great look. That one is ready to run.

...but my open road wanderlust feels for you. My bikes don't even get warmed up good in 25 miles. It's not uncommon here "out west" to have 50 mile views in several directions. Big Hondas like that sort of geography.

A fine motorbike like that would love a mainland stretch once in a while.

Just a couple more pics of my Goldthing. I could do with some good ideas for fitting the battery, apart from that I need to sort the brakes and a bit of cosmetics and we are good to go!!!

That is a real nice job you did, I love it :2thumbs
You could put the battery under the swingarm, between the rear tyre and the centre stand pivot, or maybe build a battery box that follows the line of the tank, like so:
