Re: My first ngw. Views please?
Yeah the Fireblade front end was almost a perfect fit. The electrics have been thinned out by about 60%! I just got everything electrical working and then removed wires one by one! Slow process but electrics is usually my worst subject!!!

The centre post of the triple clamp had to be swapped, Fireblade was a little short.

Re: My first ngw. Views please?
Super job on a 1200. Great look. That one is ready to run.
...but my open road wanderlust feels for you. My bikes don't even get warmed up good in 25 miles. It's not uncommon here "out west" to have 50 mile views in several directions. Big Hondas like that sort of geography.
A fine motorbike like that would love a mainland stretch once in a while.

Re: My first ngw. Views please?
Just a couple more pics of my Goldthing. I could do with some good ideas for fitting the battery, apart from that I need to sort the brakes and a bit of cosmetics and we are good to go!!!

That is a real nice job you did, I love it
You could put the battery under the swingarm, between the rear tyre and the centre stand pivot, or maybe build a battery box that follows the line of the tank, like so:
