Wires would feed through right side after hours of trying. Brakeline inside gets in the way... Lucky me.

You are an artist since you put both brake lines and wires in the right side. Wow, that was tight.

Fred, thats a typo, i COULDNT get wires through. The brake line runs diagonal, one wall to the opposite, and the loom gets wedged . When i raised the height of the bars with 2" slugs, the I. D. far less. It looked like it would be enough, the line , if it layed against one wall, wouldnt be in the way. I guess, sorta, sometimes...

I know Sunnbobb, im not very productive... Florida is so hot and humid my yankee blood cant handle it. Life has turned belly-up: wife ghosted me, it was 3 weeks before she texted she wasnt coming home and expect a divorce. I'll post what ive got done, but its not much... Well pump died, power quit( dug up, replaced power lines from pole box into house box, old ones burned up) so the manifolds are powdercoated black, bars painted black, thats about it. Seat is on, looks really good, i think.

I didnt realize the manifold rubbers were galvanized on, and cut one off, wire wheeled the remains off the manifold. Oops. So all 4 came off. I hope theres a rubber union on another bike that can replace these. Next, the cheap chrome was ground off castings smoothed out nice, and powder coated gloss black. I had planed on a small modern digital readout, but they're either $35 Ali-Express stuff, or nice but pricey ones, like Dakota Digital, Moto Gadget... So for now stock cluster stays.

Are there aftermarket rear shock covers? Or do it REALLY have to disassemble the horrible things and powdercoat the springs? Remember im trying to un-chrome/ black out the whole bike. Someone suggested losing the cheesey front aftermarket rotor covers, but if i powdercoat them black, the rotors wont show... And theyre in great shape, even( unfortunately) the chrome.

I've never really looked in to it but I "think" the CBX rubbers might work.
