Sorry,no build thread on the hack. That was a long time ago! I've only been posting pictures for a little while. I had a lot of fun when it was on the Ascot. At about 27mph the rig would go into such violent headshake I actually feared for my life! I put a stabilizer on it and it was fine. It has never shook while it's on the Orange bike. Probably about 45 mph is as fast as I've ever had it and it shows no tendency to shake. It's not for highway use. The third wheel makes it possible to ride on snow and ice which is common around here in the winter.

Must be cold out there. Popcorn munching.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

I would really like to see more photos of the orange bike! I recognize that seat as one from a Valkyrie. I really like the bodywork. Did you make the bodywork?

Yeah,I made the body work. Basically it's an 1100 shelter and side covers with a homemade tailpiece all fiberglassed together in one piece.Other than the bodywork and exhaust it's a bone stock 84 standard. What specifically would you like a picture of?

It is that! I emailed Coker, they now say early July. A little advice for the un-wary: if you want vintage correct flat track rubber DON'T GO WITH 17" WHEELS!!!!! 19's are the best(all flat trackers use 19's) There are some 18's out there but as far as I know 17's are really scarce!

Were these custom tires or something? Sorry, you might have mentioned it back a few pages, but I forget and/or am too lazy to go back through! :)

Not exactly custom,I wanted period correct flattrack tires, the problem was the 17" size. For several reasons I wanted 17" tires on it,18 and 19" are pretty common,17's are not. If the tires hadn't arrived this month I was going to change to 18's since I want to keep it as low as possible.
