Rear tail light recommendation for '83 standard?`

#1

Post by chrisz »

Hi folks,

My rear turn signal stalk broke off, and I'm looking for recommendations on what to replace it with. I'm not interested in LED lights, just something simple and noticeable.

Whichever style "you" like. Look on ebay and there will be thousands of choices. Myself I like LED lights. Especially if you want "something simple and noticeable".

The simplest and easiest would be to replace it with original. Plug in the wires, bolt it on and go...

Yeah, If you want to replace the turn signal, you might have to look into getting a new brake light as well, unless you want to keep that style, then go with an original

I think Roady has a writeup in ShopTalk about narrowing the 'winkers' as he calls them. It might give you some ideas about how to repair it. Just a thought.

Now all fixed. I had a local muffler shop weld together the broken support member. Thanks all for your suggestions.
