44's??? I don't think so. Waaaaayyy over carbureted for 1200 cc displacement - even at 12000 RPM. 40's are plenty and then some.

Could get yourself an 1800 if you shop around.

Yes.... But then I see the 1200's and they're sooo pretty. As are the 1100's. And the 1500's....

I have often wondered if a fella could fab up a manifold similar to a single carb one that would accept a cheap blower and still have a big enough plenum to do some good. This is just a pipe dream of mine, mind you, as I don't have any experience making a blower work.

If you want low end torque, the turbo or NOS probably isn't what you are looking for...a blower on the other hand.....

To answer your question, Yes, it does sound like you have a good basis for MBS. :-D
