I've been putting up the ceiling for over 20 years now! Just can't seem to get those last three sheets done.

Had a nice (sort of) day so got just a little more done...
The nice day was mostly because I had some brake work to do on my wife's car so was
"permitted" to fire up the furnace for the day!

Finished installing the upper engine mounts and the plate to keep the heat from the fuel pump.

Installed the back plates for the rear floorboards, waiting to paint the undersides of the actual
floorboards... I forgot the bottom of them which shows when they are folded up.
Finished the rear brakes, I was worried about bleeding them as the stainless brake hose makes a trip
up to the top frame rails so creating a most possible air lock, but it went quite well.
Installed the footpegs and the headlight.
Also finished up installing the exhaust and the rear turn signals.
I wasn't going to install the turn signals as I run antique plates but since this will be my long distance
ride, figured at least install the rear ones.

After quitting for the day I remembered that I forgot to drill out the exhaust and weld in the O2 sensor bungs.
It's too late now because I'm too lazy to r&r the exhaust. I have a PLX Multigauge for the
O2, Oil Pressure and Fuel Pressure but I guess at this point it's not going to be used.
That's about it for the rest of the season. The only thing left to do now is the front calipers,
before starting on the handlebars and the wiring.

Nice work. Wish I had the same expertise with electronics as I do with straight electrical and mechanical, and could build some of the items I would like to. Cheers

A little bit out of sequence, but
Made these little plugs to go where the "EGR" tubes went.

Finally... got the last part painted...
(actually this is the second time around, the first time I used the "wing" emblem but the clearcoat didn't like it for some reason and it clouded over in spots)

On another note...
I made this close to 40 years ago, and just now getting around to using it...
Took a pair of '70s Chrysler Birdcage Alternators,
pressed the stator between two case ends...
and...
Have a real nice table when you want to paint something while rotating the part as opposed to wanling around it.
