Bit of a major screw-up...
When I built my last 1200, I used dual webers, and made these port matching spacers for the manifolds...

but, I also sectioned the tank cover, well, for whatever reason, I didn't change the new tank cover and even
wothout the adapters the carbs wont fit... time to do some creative thinking!

And people said my project (Red Belly) had a lot of red! Looks great! Really nice job with the paint.

A curious thing happened on my project, shelter and tail were painted at the same time from same gun over the same epoxy primer and looked the same when cleared but after 'cut and polish' the shelter was noticeably darker. Not sure of the cause but it is back to the booth for me.

Thanks. Yours looks really good as well! That's odd, if the same base was used it should all be the same.

Accent pieces going to be black? Need another colour to break up the red and accent the bike.

People paint their bikes all black all the time. Why not all red? Go for it. (but them I may not be an unbiased commentator.) devil1

I painted this one black, and felt it was time for a change...

I like all the red, it's different, which makes it great.

A little more work today...
Going to slow down as the weather gets colder...
My wife tells me I can't run the garage furnace until I finish putting up the ceiling.
and that was back in 1994!
