Thanks to all who have followed the story of this very special GL1100 Goldwing. Although the build has been successful and is essentially done, the story continues and this time it's through an inspiring video, and condensed story document, that looks to pay tribute, and memorialize, "Bon Appetit" for the very unique bike that it is.
-
Proudly representing Naked Goldwing's October 2019 Bike of the Month, it is with great pleasure to invite all to view the following:
-
Bon Appetit - The Outlaw of all Buffet Racers!
Actual YouTube link: https://youtu.be/oKY6uUoDs-I
(Ear phones or excellent speakers are a must, and set video quality for 720p)
-
Bon Appetit's "condensed" story via a living pdf document:

-
Until we meet once more, here's wishing you a happy voyage home!

Well, I for one want to thank-you for the great work done on your bike! The presentation was artistically and well done. Can't imagine the time spent doing this project and the time spent putting the video together. So I applaud your efforts and hope to meet you someday to thank you. Your bikes are an inspiration to me.

I think it's all been said. What an amazing bike. The innovative use of common items is just sooooo cool. I'm always amazed at guys who can run into what I'd consider a brick wall and just plow through it just like you have. You definitely deserve Bike of the Month. Congratulations.

Thanks Jonesz! I have a new appreciation of what it takes to create even a simple 6 minute video. The orchestration, copyright issues, etc, but a great learning experience just the same! Take care - stay in touch!

Thanks tlbranth! I've been scouring the unwanted items at our local transfer station in hopes of replacing all the items that were used. It may take some time, but those items cannot hide in the rubble forever!

Bon Appetit's last hurrah for the month of October!
-
This is a special piece that contains a pic of Bon Appetit alongside a stock '83 GoldWing (what Bon Appetit began life as).
The setting was shot on-location at CrazyJerry's off-grid home, and all of the people in the shot are CrazyJerry!
