Yep needs fenders front and rear if you really plan to ride it.

So I wasn't real happy with the tracker look.... Decided to add a hump for the cafe racer look.

I don't ride on gravel (much, although I did do over 100 miles exploring gravel roads in TN/KY one summer on the 1800). The gravel comment was by another poster. But, I also don't ride without fenders. Learned that back in '75 with my first bike - a Triumph chopper that would pump water up under my face shield when running over wet pavement. And a Penton set up for flat tracks that required hours of cleaning to get the dirt from between the fins on that old Sachs engine.

Sorry pidjones so it was. I get your point about the no fenders in the wet not good at all. I don't use a bike as transport anymore so this one only goes out on a good day :-D

To get the shape for the cafe racer look I found some foam at the hardware store called multi purpose foam it's super light and very stiff/dense. Easy to shape with a multi tool and then some sand paper, once I got the shape I liked I taped it to the tracker seat pan and started the fibreglass. Still some finishing touches needed and I think it still needs more of a hump, a little higher. Getting close to paining the old girl. I'm thinking pastel blue with silver badges and cafe racer style number 75 on each of the side covers and a silver pin stripe down the middle of the tank and seat bubble.

They look like Jardines. I have a set on my '78 rescue. The headers blue rapidly and (at least on mine) they much too loud.
