Does the hydraulic clutch mod make a big difference? I was searching it a bit but mostly found folks trying to work out problems with it. (maybe it was just my search or I didn't go far enough) If it is worth it, I would definitely be open to doing that as well!

I have no reference frame for it, but if it's anything like my other old japanese bikes, finding neutral when hot can be a challenge. A hyd clutch eliminates that. Mine feels great for the 5ish miles Ive put on it, hahahaha

Here is Oldfogey’s take on the clutch mod…. Fitting hydraulic GL1200 clutch into GL1000.
