Beautiful and an amazing Job!

I'm all over this,,, I have a 1986 that is literally my first first anything with a bike and THIS thread is exactly what I've been looking for and need... I have many many questions... Are you open to a side conversation or two down the line?

Just ordered my first bits, side covers and a false tank from an gl1100 (83 I think)... This is good!

Any updates?

Here's my "NEW" OL Lady...

The side covers might might need some modification to fit, I don't really know. The shelter is easy.

I did a thing this weekend...

What kind of fairing is it and does it sit on the windjammer brackets?

This Fairing, https://www.ebay.com/itm/393936053700?h ... xy63FS~1mt

I cut the hole for the 8" headlight, built a headlight mount and upper support that bolts to the head tube bracket that the og fairing mounted to. Made some brackets that hold the lower rear of the fairing and struts for the upper rear that mount to what I think was an og fairing mount point on the frame. Knocked the paint out on Saturday.

Couple more picks.

Looks nice. I have this big old clunky Vetter fairing that's getting too hot to ride now and would like to install a different one. How is the pressure on your arm riding in this position?

I don't find it too bad, never done more than a couple hundred miles though. It has always been my hips that don't like it, the rear sets help with that some.
