Very nice. (Although I might be a little prejudiced about a white GL with Webers.)

Very nice work. Way beyond my skills. I like the look, and the color choices. I just can't get used to that big open space between the tank and the engine block. It makes it seem like the engine isn't fully assembled.

So quick update on my bike. I got all of the little bugs that popped up straightened out. Some jetting on the carbs (air meter and mains) I've put some miles on it and the whole bike performs fantastic, the radiator / cooling system in particular is flawless! I've tried my best to overheat it, pushing it hard keeping the revs above 7k for extended periods I've only been able to push it to around 215°f. As soon as the revs brop below 5k temp backs down to 175° range. The fans work great at idle and pulls plenty of heat, enough to kick on/off (fan cycle). I am very comfortable now with the cooling system I have stopped watching the temp gauge it does exactly as it did in stock form. Next weekend I will have it at the vintage bike rally in Birmingham Al. I'll be sure to snap some pics!

Awesome that it works! Perhaps I missed it, but what radiator did you use?

Congrats 4wf ! action1
I'm sure many of us thought about a (working) rad relocation, but you made it happen!
I'll be honest. I wasn't sure if the math was all there.... nice.
Love the look. Excellent execution. tumb2

Just got back from a trip up to the Vintage motorcycle rally in Al. Put several hundred miles on her. Lots of traffic sitting, not a single issue! Carb setup performed great, may fiddle with jetting a little more but honestly I think they're as good as I can get them. The cooling sys was spot on! Eventually I just quit checking my gauge because it was always where it's supposed to be. Fans would kick in around 200° and bring temps right down. Riding seemed to pull enough heat that the fans ran very little, I'm a bit surprised by that I figured the fans would be needed all the time.. I guess it's exposed enough to work similar to being up front? So yea I'm calling this one a success!

Yea it drew quite a crowd everywhere we stopped. I wanted to enter it in the bike show but I missed the showings. Wasn't really there for that anyway, there to see and ride!
