I based what I said on how frequently people post about problems with them on cx500forum. Some people shouldn't come any closer to wiring than installing a new battery but think they can rewire their bike with one of these systems and then expect someone else to help them figure out why it doesn't work.
And they are usually the kind that can't figure out how to take pics and oust them too...
