hahaha, thanks. I'm half-tempted to bug out and do a west run.... I need to straighten a few kinks out first, though.

Swingarm is... well... scary. Hitting bumps while cornering requires that I carry several pairs of clean boxers at all times. I'll be installing the parts I got from John over the winter, as well as a new clutch and possibly converting to hydraulic at the same time. I need to do my fuel tank properly, as even with a "clean" one, the carbs still need gone through every few thousand miles. There's a front rim waiting for me out in Gahanna that I'll need to install, too.

Lots of work. I *might* even paint something while I have it discombooberated.
The bike is essentially just another bike... The pilot is CRAZY.

Thanks for the reminder of a terrific (too) few days in Pennsylvania. The peon lodging picture was neat 'cause one of the bikes was my '78. Great bunch of folks and I'm glad Pete (Ascot) talked me into going. Turns out that Americans with GoldWings are pretty much the same as Canadians with GoldWings . Must be that the bikes attract the handsomest, most intelligent riders (you can tell from the pix).
Looking forward to another ride next summer.
Happy Thanksgiving. Even if it's on the wrong date.
