The Texas contingent is proud to announce
the Official NGW Central Run will take place
in the historic & scenic Texas Hill Country.
*Dates Oct.18-21, 2016
*Registration $20.00
*Tuesday the 18th Ride in (10:00am for those who choose) at Circuit of the Americas for photos and tour**. From COTA, group ride in to Fredericksburg to Country Inn http://www.mycountryinn.com/motel.html eats will be served. I've blocked 6 rooms 2 beds each under Becker NGW
*Wednesday the 19th. Recovery day from long ride into Texas. Have coffee & breakfast at the motel (included) or start your day a few blocks away at one of the many restaurants in town. Local attractions Nimitz Museum, Enchanted Rock, Brewery tour, scenic Fredericksburg, TX.
NGW Texas BBQ that evening. 10 minutes away.
*Thursday the 20th. Coffee & breakfast (included). Scenic ride. Motowalt will be heading up a ride in the beautiful Texas Hill Country (approx. 250 miles with points of interest through the Twisted Sisters, Leakey, Vanderpool. Texas lunch stop, nice ride, pie, etc.).
We'll end the day with dinner at the Country Inn .
*Friday morning the 21st. Coffee & breakfast (included). Ride into Luckenbach (10mi.) for souvenirs and fair wells.
THOSE WHO WISH TO STAY (or came) FOR THE HARVEST RALLY(21-22), YOU WILL BE FIRST IN LINE FOR CAMPSITES. There are also KOA cabins and major chain motels close by.
We'd love to have everyone participate in the Harvest Rally, but understand if schedules require
a weekend for the ride home.
Just a word... We are very excited to invite Y'all to our great State and we have many things to see and do, but if you would rather relax and take it all in.. you have come to the right place too. Remember this is the place where 'Kickin' Back' was invented.
HOTT**The folks at COTA have graciously extended an offer for NGW members to tour the F1 race course. I say graciously because tours are only done on weekends. Add to that, this will be the weekend for the 2016 USA Formula 1 event! Teams will be loading in. Tour cost $18.50 at venue.
