Take pics please. With Graduations this year we are swamped with events and this one did not make the cut.

Gonna miss the crowd, will try not to let this happen again. One of the few where CWC and NGW are both attending.

Re: 2017, June 11 Gilmore MI Vintage Bike Show and Swap
Back home, safe and sound. Apart from the heat, this was another fantastic year. I guess I missed Doug and Gord, but got to see Bones again and catch up with rainstromrider, which is always cool. Swap meet seemed down, but I couldn't afford anything anyway. The show was really good, lots of eclectic participants (as usual). I also got quite a bit of interest in BOTH my bikes, and pretty evenly split, too. Lots of "my dad had one of these" or "I have one in the barn I'm putting together". Talked with a guy first thing as I pulled up who was trying to nakedize a GL1200. I think I burst his bubble a bit when I told him it wasn't going to be easy....
I also MAY have had a line on a 1200 Standard grab rail- guy was talking to me how he owns a 1200 Standard and plopped the Interstate bags on it. I almost asked him if he still had the rail, but it was hours later before I put 2 and 2 together. Ah well. I would never use it anyway, and besides- no money.
I'll have to get pics up soon. That, and start looking forward to Mid-Ohio. :D

Sorry I missed you, saw your bike, but had to hit the road back to Toronto.
Did get to meet (finally) rainstormrider and his wonderful 'bones' after missing him for three years.

I actually walked by your bike on my way to register for the show. By the time we were done at about 9:30, it was either gone or moved.
I'm sitting on about 30 photos from the show. I'll pop 'em up tonight.

Quite a few Goldwings there. Did you see that young guy that took the GL1100 and stripped it down to nothing. Made a chain link seat and put a couple spot lights on it and called it a custom. My naked 1100, Mikes GL1200, and more. Good show.

The blue 1977 GL1000 looks very nice, any idea on the owner. Need to suggest he ride it more as it looks like a perfect ride.

I don't know about the blue 'Wing. It's been at that show before at least once, because I recognize it. If I see it again, I'll have to be nosy...
