we drove through some terrific storms on Sunday in Kansas. Slowed to about 30 with flashers on. Spent most of this week packing up the garage and getting things done at the house. We head back to VA today. HD and riding lawnmower on trailer and 1200 with sidecar under its own power

A bit scary through the reservation. Nasty storm & winds with trucks right and left. It's particularly difficult when Marilyn's riding her bike. She's pretty new at it and anything unusual is scary so I'm riding for the two of us and it wears me out. Too bad about all the smoke. We never had any good views of anything through the funk.
Still we got home OK. Always good to get out of the house.

I was wondering if you had that storm. Adam and I both ran into it too. Glad you made it home alright

The shame of it all is that the one day we could've mingled, learned names and done stuff with the group, we spent the whole day looking for and getting a tire. I figured we'd have one day left anyway but nooooooooo! In comes the storm. Well maybe Sunnbobb will set up a west coaster next year and we could try it again.

we are now home in VA... the garage sure looks full with 4 two wheelers, one three wheeler and a John deere mower... and not forgotten, a pile of 78 parts I am working on.

Managed to get most of the OK garage packed
