Will we need waders? Seems that the upper Midwest is a bit soggy this year. My workshop flooded. First time in 31 years. But it might be dryer in the hills.

I just saw a picture of what appeared to be snow in Hill City, SD on July 18th. It was actually hail. I havent been able to verify it yet. But the following pic is July 28th of 2015. There was a good hail storm in Custer, SD.

OK so here's a possibility for folks comin' from the east.
My wife and I own an unoccupied house in Ivanhoe, MN (check the map). That is a nice days ride from the Hills. Or its a two days' ride if your like me. We have room for five folks, or six if folks would like to sleep together. It's a three bedroom cape with a bath and a half. Internet and full kitchen. Yours for the taking on the way out or back. PM me for more info.

Very nice Offer action1 action1 action1 action1

Taking a quick look it is about 160 miles round trip off our path. The day getting there from La Crosse would be easy but the day from there to Wild Bills makes it a touch too far for me. I am going to be 15 days on the road so I am trying really hard to keep it at 400 or less each day.
