Hey! Get the heck outa here! I do my best work alone!

I will say this though, planning your route, particularly the daily mileage, and having a reservation after a reasonable length of ride makes for a better trip. Hotel rooms book fast in the west and you don't want to add an extra 50-100 miles to your daily trip just trying to find a vacancy that suits.

That route is ideal for retired folks. Hope to join those ranks some day.

Just east of St Louis in Troy Il is the Troy Family Diner. It was one of our favorite breakfast spots. Good food and reasonable prices. Possible lunch stop. No promises but I may be able to meet you there. Just a thought.

I am SO bummed I can't take this trip, especially since you all are passing about 30 miles north of me (Wisconsin Dells). Just a heads up, traffic along the stretch of interstates 151 all the way through Tomah will be pretty heavy on a Sunday afternoon... Enjoy the ride!
