Hey, guys. Yeah. I've been working a lot. Like, a lot.... Its also been raining, so not much pleasure riding.

As for the flowers, they haven't bloomed. Yet. I'm planning trips back to Figueroa Mountain (the pics above), the Carrizo Plain, and Death Valley. Its gonna be epic!

Also need to get myself a Roadcrafter R3; the ONE winter I decide to ride is the one winter that singlehandedly pulls CA out of a 7 year drought..... Just my luck....

True, but TOTALLY worth it, given how much I ride; I don't have a car. All I have is my bike. So its an investment.

But yes. I agree. @ $1,300, it is a chunk of change....

Its been a while!!!

Did some riding, grenaded a motor, you know...

Went to the Carrizo Plain to check out the wildflowers with my BFF. It was perfect. She drove, I rode. And I put a 5 gallon gas can in her trunk so I didn't have to stop for fuel!!

Then 2 weeks ago, I got cut off, dropped the bike, and put a hole in the stator cover. I thought some tape around the cover would hold the oil, but it found a way; I lost all oil pressure, and, well....

Went on a ride yesterday. Got 269 miles in over 8 and a half hours. Good day!!

I went out to the Antelope Valley Poppy Preserve. Just drove past it; I was gonna go in, but it was a total tourist trap, with LONG lines of cars and people. Still,it was amazing from the road:

From there, I did some urban riding in Los Angeles. Took the 14 to the back side of Griffith Park, did a quick pit stop at Griffith Observatory:

Again, total tourist trap right now, so I didn't go in.

From there, I did a bunch of urban riding, and rode Wilshire Blvd from Hollywood ALL the way to PCH in Santa Monica, then PCH to the 23, up the 23 to Mullholland, then back to the 101 and back home. Was a really good day.
