coming up September 29. I am signed up for Charlotte NC. Looks like there is someone else signed up with a GL1000.

Anyone else doing it this year?

I'm tempted to hit up the Detroit one, but I'd probably take my KZ1300, if only for the fact it's currently running rather well after a long lay-up, and for the simple audacity of it all. The only question is if I can update my wardrobe by the end of the month....

Still, it looks like a fun time.
1997 Valkyrie- Light Cutomization, but Too Busy Riding
1980 KZ1300- Bike's Haunted
1976 GL1000 (Yellow)- It Runs (Poorly) and Doesn't Leak (Mostly)
1974 Velosolex 3800- Better Than Walking
1972 CB750- Broke the Chain And Ate the Motor
1969 CT90- The Most Fun You Can Have on 90ccs.
1965 CA77 Dream- Needs a Full Teardown, but Complete

All advice I give is only valid until an expert corrects me.

I made it about halfway to Detroit before my tachometer started playing up and my speedometer didn't seem far behind. Made the decision to get home before I broke something.

In retrospect, it may have been a good idea- it rained the entire rest of the day. Oh well. There's alway next year.

(Shame. I even went through the trouble of matching my tie to my bike....)
