Me too. Sure was hoping things would turn around some before now. Such a nice area to ride.

Pulled out of the driveway at 5 am. Now safe in Abingdon Va. Great ride. Lots of twisty stuff. The last 25 miles or so of route 40 then 8 were great, The few miles I did on the Blue Ridge Parkway was "relaxing" as usual. 58 after that got to be a lot of fun. A bit of fog near the coast but drove out of that after an hour or so and threatening clouds most of the day but no real rain. Almost 500 miles but good fun.
The run in tomorrow should be about 5 1/2 hours. Plan to be lazy in the morning and wait for daylight lolol lolol lolol

Maybe do a lunch run here one day this week. I just called and they have in house dining. Used to eat here quite a bit when working at the Army Depot in Richmond. Pretty decent as I recall and about right distance for a lunch run. Right close to 50 miles.

Wish it werent in the middle of the week.

But, I rode an organized adventure ride on my DRZ around Pineola NC last weekend, and will be going to an organizeddual sport in Chester SC in a couple weekends.

Planning a short jaunt to a friends cabin below Table Rock NC, and then on to Suches GA for the True Grits 50cc rally! { http://champsclock.com/50cc.htm }

On the GW, but I did participate one year...

I was supposed to be in an inflatable yellow M&M's costume, but left the battery pack at home.
