Problem solved. I did just that. Used an app called road warrior to map out a rout from San Angelo to Wooster Ohio.
Then placed stops in ~350 mile increments. I booked all my lodging along that route. Then for the return I go down to Crossville Tn and stay with my elder sister for couple of days. Then onward back to San Angelo. Booked all my lodging for the return trip too. The trip back from Crossville has shorter increment miles and thus I wont get too tired. So it's all figured out. That is until I run across a wrinkle in my plans. But Hey, that's what CCs are for.
I too, look forward to seeing you again. You are my favorite NGW member.
Your sage advice is freely given without negative judgement and you are most kind.
I love how you get right to the point.
I'll be looking for you at Greg's barbeque for sure.
There are plentiful great riding roads in the Crossville area. Riding from North of Knoxville to Williams, AZ via US70 two-up on a GL1800 pulling a Uni-go trailer I learned that 400 mile days were about the comfort limit for both myself and the wife. At 350 miles, you should have time to sightsee, relax, and really enjoy the trip.

RAT and myself have devoted many years of trial and error to come up with the 350 number.
We both rise early, so put 100 down before breakfast,
then a stretch of 150 till a late lunch (bout 2 most days) next a easy 100 into the hotel for the night, 5 ish normally.

Just went over my itinerary for the third time. I'm definitely going. I have my lodging all figured out, recorded all the lodging stops and info for addresses conf#s a phone contact etc. Just bought a 10 liter tank bag, have large rear rack bag etc. Now if I can find time between students this week to finish the WP job. On the trip back I'm stopping at my sisters in Crossville Tn for a couple of days. Then on back home to San Angelo. I expect to be out riding by weeks end working on improving my riding skills. And boy do I need it.
