February next year is our 40th. July or August 2021 not sure yet on exact dates but this ride will happen. The route is just a rough draft but something to start from. I am going to fly my Wife out and pick her up there and spend 4 or 5 days doing Glacier then she can fly home. Anyone cares to join in is welcome!

I really would like to ride to Glacier, I and Brant have talked about it ,count me in !Is there going to be a Deadwood rally next year? It will be three years since the last one . That's usually the week after the Sturgis rally but could be flexible . dancr

When we did Deadwood 2 years ago I really feel like I missed out on the Wildlife loop Road in Custer due the animals still hiding in shell shock from the Sturgis rally. I would very much like to see that in it's "unmolested" form. So dates for my trip will be After Vintage Days in Ohio and Before the Sturgis rally. I will be spending a day or 2 in the Black Hills area before pushing across to Missoula. I plan one day in Missoula to visit the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation headquarters before my Wife arrives.

This is looking like the route out. Probably gonna be a week or 10 days to get there. 5 days with the better half and then blast home. Last time I went through Yellowstone was in either 86 or 87 so that is due. Hoping that the East side of Glacier is open then. Right now everything that is part of the Reservation is locked down for the Covid. There is currently no way into the "Many Glaciers" area. 3 600 mile days I can do easy to get to Rapid City then 3 or 4 days to do these last 2 legs and slow down a bit.

I would have to start at 3 am and drive to dark to catch up for sure (but then again I don't replace rear tires as often)
