Home safe. 2723 miles round trip. Only casualties were the front tire to start the trip, and my lighter, which has managed to remain in the socket for 80k has gone missing. Sacrifices to the road gods.

We just got home. Speedometer broke a day ago. Other than that and a quarter million dollars worth of gas......everything went fine. Glad to see old (some real old) faces again. Glad to be home though.

Made it home yesterday evening. Great to see some faces I have not seen in many years, and really missed seeing those that could not make it. Rode down to Ft Collins after the Deadwood get together to see my niece and her family for a couple of days. Except for the hail in Deadwood, I had great weather overall but was a bit chilly a couple of mornings. Max and I rode through a 41 degree morning just out of Deadwood. Foggy too. 🥶

Road report for Wiskerfish - Lolo Pass is in good shape. Riding westbound the first 30 miles are perfect. A few spots 10 miles after that are a bit rough, then another 30 or so miles of great pavement. Once you get down to civilization, the road turns average to fair, but is still OK. You wont regret it. crossy.gif

I made it home on 9/4 after spending some quality time with friends in Durango, CO. other than the cool temps and fog Dangeruss mentioned, I had good weather all the way home.
found a KOA outside Poncha Springs, CO & got to try out my hammock camping setup off the back of the bike.
