Would have been a real bummer if the beer were warm. :drunk

Looks like I'm not coming down until Sunday. Normally I'm a Saturday guy, but Doc (a WWII B-29 bomber, one one of only two still flying) is flying into Kalamazoo that weekend, and on a whim I decided to book a flight. So if I miss anyone, know that it is only for the COOLEST of reasons.

1976 GL1000 (Yellow)- It Runs (Poorly) and Doesn't Leak (Mostly)
1974 Velosolex 3800- Better Than Walking
1972 CB750- Broke the Chain And Ate the Motor
1969 CT90- The Most Fun You Can Have on 90ccs.
1965 CA77 Dream- Needs a Full Teardown, but Complete

All advice I give is only valid until an expert corrects me.

Looks like the BBQ is pretty thin this year.

But to the 3 die hards that are coming, we might just to the corner and have Mexican food instead.

Oooo, she's a beaut. Yankee Lady is the B-17 closest to me, out of Willow Run, so I see her fly overhead every couple years, with the occasional stop at our local county airport then and again. Still, really hard to beat a B-29 Superfortress, though....

Keeping things on topic, though, does anyone know how the show usually is on Sunday? Is it still pretty busy, or is it like the vintage show in Wauseon Ohio, where everyone is essentially just packing up?

From what I understand vendors are not supposed to leave until noon Sunday. So that keeps them there for awhile at least.

Sweet. I'll have to keep an eye out for some Trail 90 parts. Seems that blowing smoke out the exhaust is the LEAST of my problems....

(Also, looks like I won't be bringing MY 90.)

I did hoist a beer in honour of the occasion ... REALLY hate to miss it.

Odds look much better for the Eastern Run in September ...
