Kehin carb parts

Post by salukispeed »

I do not know if this is helpfull but I am rebuilding a set of 84 GL 1200 I carbs to try on my bike and was looking for new Pilot jets rather than cleaning them and I will also replace the Needle and seat sets. I found a place called PJ Motorsport that has been helpfull and there prices are much better than the local dealer. I do not know if they can help with slides or diaphrams ( I do not believe so ) But they were helpfull and courtious to work with. Pilot jets were around $6 and needle and seats were $14. the items I have purchased from them so far are Kehin factory parts and do not look like re-pops. I have not received the needle sets yet ( ordered yesterday ) Has anyone else worked with them?

Just FYI
Got the carb needles in 3 days and they look and measure perfect. I will swap them for the 26 year old nasty ones. ( It was my mistake when I thought I ordered needles and seats ( just needles with clip ) but my seats were terrible to look at but functionally perfect when cleaned up.) So the needles only worked perfect.

Nice people and a good source.
