I've had good luck with these guys for new OEM parts, and they're cheaper than my local dealer for sure:

www.servicehonda.com

And I'm sure everyone knows these guys:

www.crc2onlinecatalog.com

And, of course, EBay. Sometimes you luck out, most times you don't.

I have a few 1100 parts in my garage, from electrical bits, to most body panels to engine parts. All secondhand and cheap. I live about 10miles from Reading, Berkshire,UK

Manuals !

Post by hirsty »

Really getting carried away now, just found a great site that sells repair manuals online - the genuine article, not a reprint service.

example '77 GL1000 prices:
Clymers - $21
Haynes - $19
Official - $39

There is a great look-up section by year, brand & capacity - most GLs seem to be there. Mine were in stock & ship next day apparently - they will post internationally too.

A good source for HONDA OEM parts, of course just because they are on the fiche doesn't mean Honda has any on the shelf. Thirty percent cheaper than my local dealer.

Hello Guys And Dolls;

Well I did some researh in my neck of the wood and came up with these after market suplyers for our beloved Gold Wings...

Daring Kuryakyn Products Metric
454 Hwy. 35/64
Somerset, WI. 54025
1(715)247-2184
www.kuryakyn.com

Custom World International
www.cw-intl.com

Big Bike Parts
www.bigbikeparts.com

Add On Incorporated
133 Gold st.
Worcester, MA. 01608
1(508)791-7552
1-800-821-9861
E-Mail add-on@iccis.net

All of the above are cataloges you can order to find parts, the last one ADD ON is good for after market parts for the older wings. I also located a Used Parts Suplyer here on the west coast

Rancho Cycle Salvage
1-800-494-2925

Hope I didn't repeate any sites others have come up with
