That is a good site for older bike parts, they have intake and exhaust valves for 10 and 15 bucks each respectively. They ship locally in Canada and the USA.
The Tridon EL12 sold at most autoparts stores for approx $10 is a good electronic flasher that stops slow flashing or high speed flashing in all the situations I have encountered. It is electronic and will work in situations where the much cheaper Napa 552 just doesn't cut it. Try the 552 first but if it isn't working well enough then the Tridon EL12 is a great alternative.

People ask us why we ride a motorcycle. For those who have experienced the joy, no explanation is necessary; for those who have not, no explanation is possible.
If you are using a spin on adapter like I am on my 79, I buy Purolator Chrome filters off Amazon. I get 2 at a time when I order, which is a years supply. Purolator ML16822C. Don't forget the "C" to get the chrome version. They look great.

I have a 75 that needs steering bearings. Is there a taper roller bearing that will work. My parts list shows a 75-77 as the same. I found some on ebay that say you can change the ball type over to the taper roller but it only list it for a 77-79 whats up?
thanks Mickey
Yeah there is. I bought one of those Ebay kits to convert and it only gives you the bearings. You also need seals and to keep in mind top and bottom are different sizes. Check out Old Fogey's comments in Shoptalk. Click just above this.

Early 75 frames use the same sizes of bearings as the CX500 (Berlin Cowgirl was the one who came up with this). There was then a change in the headstock sizes from somewhere end of 75 for 76 model which continued to 77. Another change of sizes for the 78-79 models, which had taper rollers as standard.
All Balls Bearings are the only after market kits I know of that supply ALL the parts you need .
Also remember that roller bearings need a slight pre-load in order to make them roll and not slide.

Mine is a march 75 but when I check the all balls web site they list the same kit for the cx500 #22-1011. That is the same one they list for the 76-79. Does anyone have a all balls part number?
