JIS Screwdrivers

#1

Post by Whiskerfish »

I know this is not necessarily the right place but I wanted to acknowledge some great service from a Vendor not associated with the site. I needed some new JIS Screwdrivers and ordered them through http://www.VESSELTOOLS.COM

The price was not cheap but good tools are not cheap. Service was exceptional. I ordered them Sunday and there appeared to be a glitch in the order so I followed it up with an email. First thing Monday morning I got a response that explained everything and the tools were at my house Wednesday.

I ordered
900 P3*150 (DESCRIPTION: +P3 Cross Point Tip, 150mm Shaft Length; ), $12.36
900 P2*100 (DESCRIPTION: +P2 Cross Point Tip, 100mm Shaft Length; ), $8.52
900 P1*75 (DESCRIPTION: +P1 Cross Point Tip, 75mm Shaft Length; ), $8.27

As seen here http://www.vesseltools.com/hand-tools/s ... e.tpl.html

Very pleased with the service and the quality of the tools. tumb2 tumb2 tumb2

Ummm, I got that $7 set from Harbor Freight and ... well they fit nice and I used the #2 a few times. The last time I used it to snug down the intake runners and it wouldn't grab. Guess what? The tip was trashed. So it's been tossed and I'll probably do the same with the rest of the set.

no probably not. i tend to buy pretty high quality tools so a $7 screw driver, let a lone a whole set, just struck me as, well....interesting. some things at harbor freight are ok. but things that i use everyday, not so much.
