. I was down a cup or so of coolant and the rad cap was stone cold!Long story short I carried on and watched the coolant level closely .... had to add a bit at most gas stops. While we were in Tennessee on the NGW Eastern run (thanks Terri and Dean),
my LITTLE brother suggested I'd best order some head gaskets. With Eric's help these were sourced and picked up Wednesday.
Thursday we rode slowly and carefully back to Columbus.
Friday morning Greg pulled the heads and sure enough the right side head gasket was shot.
About 4 hours later he had everything back together and running sweetly.
Road test scheduled for tomorrow.
