I have a NOS, (new old stock) Honda headlight bezel that I could let go for a reasonable price. PM me if interested.

Looking very nice there StevelKnievel (I like that, might just steal it for myownself).

When you put the vinyl on, do it warm. When I was in AZ we didn't have to use a hair dryer to warm it, just layed it on the concrete in the sun for a few minutes. Warm it from the back with the hair dryer and then stretch the crap out of it. It'll take a lot of abuse so tug away. Make sure you don't leave any wrinkles. When it cools it'll snug up and be tight as a frog's a$$.

I get the old BMW thing at least once a week. At this point when they come up to me and ask "Is that an old Beamer?" I just smile and say "Nope." and let them guess for a bit before I tell them what it is. Yesterday some guy asked me if it was a Guzzi, which I thought was odd for a second, then I remembered how much I though the GL1000 reminded me of a Moto Guzzi El Dorado and I saw his point.

Anyway, it's fun.. its the best when BMW riders ask if its an old beamer, which happened to me once.

The response then was "Well.. it's like an old beamer, but more reliable."

Riding out to Ky with Cyborg a guy at a Gas Station asked Doug what it was. Doug responded that it was a Honda and the guys Immediately says "No it isn't". It was Hysterical the way he said it like he was offended that anyone would call that thing a Honda.

update
well my lower back has been bugging me and the culprit was obviously the drag bars to i decided to take the bike another direction, for now the old bars are on but pushed way up so my arms are straight out while riding (just like mini ape hangers) and i love it. it feels so much better when i ride. and i love the look
heres a quick pic
as always, opinions appreciated
and please excuse my wreck of a garage, im in the process of working on my jimmy and trying to sell my trail toy, its usually cleaner
