I haven't heard a name, but his initials appear to be P.O. He is also the originator of the phrase "was running when I parked it" and on eBay "pulled from a running bike."

Not too long ago I bought a fuel pump on Ebay that was from that same "pulled from a running bike guy." He didn't say pulled from a running bike while peeing all over my shoe.

Started stripping, starting from the top, gauges, airbox battery and mount, here's an interesting picture can anyone see the problem with pulling this connection?

Melted into a mess? Just snip them off you can hook any of those three up to
any of the other side. They are better off soldered anyway.

Not much restoring going on, mostly stripping rusty parts.

That guy must have had his hands in my bike also. It was so bad, I just bought another harness. The main 30amp power wire used to get red hot and smoke. Those damn crimp on scotch locks should be banned, I think tweakers love to squeeze those things into good wiring and think they are electricians.

I noticed a few rusted areas on the frame in your photo's. Check all welds and pipes in the lower half of the frame (engine mounts, removeable sub-frame, centrestand cross-member).

Very prone to rust.

Dave.

I've noticed the rust on the frame, when she's stripped it will be off to my buddies shop for some grit blasting and "VERY" close inspection, before paint.
