I had a plan in mind before Josh hit me up for taking Layla. I just wanted that bike on the road. As I plan on upgrading the brakes on 'Grumpy' and it was headed to storage for the winter anyway, I suggested we swap the entire brake system onto his bike for the cost of new brake lines for Grumpy. He could move it to storage, pull the system, and I'd help him swap them onto his bike on Saturday.
And then it rained...

Saturday sucked, plain and simple. Cold and wet, working under a big old beechnut tree on a piece of plywood and a makeshift bench, we did a not- so -quick rebuild, flush, and install of the brakes. It was nearing dark when Josh pulled out of his friend's driveway for his first ride on HIS Wing!

Back at home, some Sunday morning adjustments. Cold and clear!
